There will be games of red light, green light and Simon Says gone Elizabeth-style. There may even be a grass stain or two but you’ll have the most lively imagery when we’re done playing. And your kids will be asking if I can stay to play – I promise.

Chasing your children around the yard and documenting both the sweet and sassy personalities they’re growing into is my absolute favorite. There is so much awesome packed into little laughs and growing smiles. Children’s portraits are done on location, at a place that is meaningful to your gang — whether that be your home, a field at their grandparents or the local park you bicycle in. Documentary images that display the connections and relationships in your lives are what we’ll focus on. You’ll remember who was missing what tooth, who got along with whom and which kid it was that loved orange sherbet that summer.
You’ll have a plethora of gorgeous photographs to hang beside your dining room table or to rest on the coffee table when we’re all done. They’ll be slices of life you’ll want to share with guests and family or for reveling in on those days when the kids feel far from well-mannered and the grass can’t turn green quickly enough. Your portrait session is never stressful or rushed, but always fun, full of snack breaks and games. It’s really no skin off my nose if we have to pause for a meltdown, too. Kids are unpredictable and tire quickly, I understand that your children are real. That’s why I love them.
