Dezirae + Rajan | Getting Ready | Hyatt Place Lexington | Wedding

The weekend before last Nathan and I got to spend our Saturday hopping all over Lexington with Dezirae and Rajan as they tied the knot in two ceremonies.  The first catholic and the latter, hindu followed by a cocktail hour and a beautiful reception.  The ladies began their morning with pancakes, mimosas and hair at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Lexington.  Lots of laughs were shared as the girls got into their sweet Amsale gowns from Twirl Lexington.

While Nathan and I were off photographing the wedding gown on the elevator, Donald Rumsfeld strolled out on his way to breakfast and complimented Dez’s gown right before he made a joke about sticking his head in it.  True story.  We were hanging with Donald Rumsfeld for a few seconds, as was Dez’s gorgeous Watters gown.

We also got to hang with some of my best friends who were bridesmaids – such a joy and a blessing to work with people you already love.  Enjoy all these gorgeous images of the ladies getting ready and Dez’s beautiful accoutrements.  From the minute we walked in everything was so laid back, fun and easy – a total reflection of Dez’s personality and the love she and Raj share.  Head back to the blog tomorrow and Friday for the rest of their sweet weddings!  Enjoy!
