Ernest & Elizabeth: A Copper & Kings, Calvary Episcopal, Seelbach Hilton Wedding
Their guests got to dance underneath the stars, taste a variety of southern-themed food, enjoy a bit of small-town city life and soak in the warmth of their Old Kentucky home. Ernest and Elizabeth, both Kentucky natives and University of Louisville grads, met at an Alumni event in New York City where they both live. Their big-city life made Copper & Kings the perfect urban environment for celebrating their wedding. Elizabeth's gown and attire choices were fit for a fun, yet classic wedding at Louisville's Calvary Episcopal Church. So much history and sanctuary-beauty in that church which made her gorgeous veil, fit with a blusher, shine. Her bridesmaids wore various shades of blush, each in their own style - one of my most favorite ideas. And the flower girls were to-die-for in their sequined and gold coordinating dresses.
This wedding was so full of family and friends, from Ernest's 103-year-old grandmother to the Louisville Cardinal bird making a surprise visit, the event had a deep mark from many facets of their personalities and interests. Love that. Also love that they chose an easy afternoon of getting ready at the Seelbach Hilton followed by a quick trolley ride to the church with all their friends. Made the day so easy for their bridal party and so fun for them to be amongst friends. Enjoy!
