Getting Caught Up
Early Saturday morning I will be traveling to Mayfield, Ky. with some of my best friends to attend the Mountain Workshops again. You can check out last year's site here - it's a pretty amazing thing. I plan to blog throughout the whole shindig...so get excited - I am. This year I will not be a participant, rather a labbie. My roles....well they vary, and pretty much involve helping out where I am needed...but more on that later.
For now, know that today I am tying up lots of loose ends - so don't be suprised if you get a call from me. I also think I have fall family sessions available - so be sure to pay attention and get in quick, as there are only a few spaces open and once they're gone - they're gone.
I hope all is well where you all are - it is a beautiful Kentucky morning here, and I am off to my class. It's so nice to start the day early - I've already cleaned out my email box, tended to my filthy car and started drafting many blog posts for later days.
For now, here is a photo I shot this week of a father and son. Once every two weeks these two get to see one another under supervision. The father hopes to regain custody this month - but until then, they meet at this park, swing, catch up and bond...can I just say I love where my job takes me? It's pretty amazing.
