Ice House Wedding | Kristen + Eric | Louisville, Kentucky | Part 1

Remember Kristen and Eric's fabulous engagement on Bardstown Road at Molly Malone's and Farmington?  Well, if it's possible (trust me, it is!) their wedding was 100x that amazingness.  Best part?  Kristen and Eric are both so kind, humble and lovely to work with as were their families.  Everyone was just having the best time!  Love that. There was so much goodness from this wedding, that you'll view it today in a 3-part installment.  The girls and guys started getting ready at The Galt House.  Love the remodeled accommodations there.  Girls got prettied in a open room while kiddos slept on beds in an adjacent room.  Perfect for Eric and Kristen's little girl.  Long story short, these two were wed over a year prior to their wedding, but Eric serves our country and spent quite a bit of time deployed, so wedding dreams were put on hold for a bit later.  Love that Kristen had so much time to plan and got to have her fairytale wedding and that their daughter got to throw flowers down the aisle.

Kristen put on her gorgeous gown, slipped on her Kate Spade heels, put on her pearls and headed downstairs for her first look with her groom.  Eric was so wise and sweet to present his bride with a string of pearls all her own, so she swapped out her mother's for her own and we met up with the bridal party on the belvedere.  Loved that we had so much time to make portraits before hand.  Got all of those family gems out of the way before party time and in the most beautiful light.

After we wrapped up portraits the bride and her groom hopped in two horse-drawn carriages and headed for The Ice House with their bridal party.  Come back at lunch time to see the beautiful rooftop ceremony
