Kate + Jason | Carrick House Reception | Part Two

From the soccer fields to Carrick House.  We hopped back in the party bus and rode the block to Kate and Jason's reception.  The bridal party got a quick drink while we bustled Kate's gown and got right to the introductions.  Both the Maid of Honor and Best Man gave speeches, as well as the other men in Kate's life: her father and brother.  The latter - who is single ladies, and wanted everyone to know - gave a great speech that brought many laughs, smiles, fearful faces and hysterical laughing. The two danced with their friends and family until the very end and even left in tears.  Happy tears, but we'll get to that in a minute.

These two are next in line to get married.  So many cute moments all day long.  Ms. Suzi from Magnolia Floral Designs also did all of the beautiful florals at the reception.  I just loved how clean and bright everything was.  The Carrick House is definitely a beautiful venue and awesome reception location in Lexington - so much light, I could hardly stand myself. The gorgeous cake - and oh, so yummy - was from Sugar Forest in Lexington.  The best part of the whole day was when I walked back in and surprised Kate on a bit of overtime for her exit.  And such an amazing exit it was.  They were both crying by the time they got to the horse.  That's right....the horse and carriage - a love of Kate's.  I believe the exact caption for this image, said through tears was,"You're not supposed to be here!!."  But I was so glad Kate's Mom grabbed me on my way out to tell us about the horse and carriage surprise.  It was worth every, single bubble blown and minute stayed.

Love.  My.  Job.
