Loo Loves | Back to School Supplies
As a recent college graduate, I can't help but to feel a little nostalgic about my good ole' back-to-school days. I don't know about y'all, but nothing made me more excited than a new school supply list... and school supply shopping? Best thing ever. Big decisions were to be made in those back-to-school aisles. For example.. A 24 pack of crayons or the 64 pack with a sharpener on the back? Glitter pen pouch that could only hold a couple of my Milky Gel Pens (please tell me you remember these) or a Spacemaker that could hold everything? Lisa Frank laminated folders or the *N Sync ones that had a different band member on the cover for each subject? (*N Sync won every time by the way). As much as I would love to take part in this year's back-to-school sales (in fact, I had to remind myself this morning at Kroger that, 'No, I really don't need this Dr. Seuss Lorax folder' - true story), I realize that wearing a personalized L.L. Bean backpack to work might be a little over the top. However, I've come to the conclusion that adults can also join in the supplies fun as well (and they should!). If you're like us, and get excited over pens, notebooks, label makers, etc., then you should definitely check out the sites listed below! You can thank me later :)
Elizabeth and I are both loving the new things that Paper Source is coming out with for the Fall. So many cute stationary sets, notebooks, etc. to choose from. This place is dangerous!
Elizabeth has gotten me hooked on Le Pen ever since I started working here. It's basically a mixture between a marker and a pen - the best of both worlds, really.. and they come in so many colors!
If you don't know anything about Emily Ley, you should probably stop what you're doing right now and check out her site (well, after you finish reading this of course). She has so many great things, including this planner that we have been drooling over for months now. It doesn't come out until this Fall, but I promise you that when it does, Elizabeth and I will be first in line to get it!
Who says you can't carry a lunch box anymore? If anything, having one of these just gave you an excuse to pack a lunch for work. Love, love!
This only skims the surface of my office supplies obsession, but you get the point! Hope all the kiddos out there are enjoying their first few days back at school.. and if you happen to be a senior this year, and haven't had your pictures taken yet, you should definitely shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to get that set up with Elizabeth :)
Happy weekend everyone!
