New Years Eve Wedding | Allie & Brandon
If you've ever considered a New Years Eve wedding, let me get started on persuading you to both have one and invite me along. One of my longest-loved besties, Allie, married the love of her life, Brandon, on the last day of 2015 and it was a blast. So many noisemakers, confetti, hats and loads of sparkle topped off with guests who were ready to ring in the new year together made for a sweet celebration.
Also a blast, because this most-loyal friend of mine had a wedding that perfectly fit her friendly, dramatic (in the theater sense), fun personality. Her gown was stunning with a bit of sparkle and a touch of fur for outdoor portraits. The guys were decked out in black ties, including our little Truman who served as ring bearer. The sweetest flower girls wore sequins and tulle while her bridesmaids looked stunning in black gowns of their choosing. She filled a photo booth full with metallic props, oversized gold "2016" balloons and a whole bunch of fun people. If you're borderline on adding a Photo Booth, DO IT - one of my most favorite additions for remembering our guests and seeing more of the wedding, after.
What I loved most about this sweet affair wasn't the awesome photo booth (so good!), or the way metallics tied everything together, but it really was getting to see my bestie enjoy her first evening as wife. Just the best to watch her first look with Brandon and the excitement on both of their faces, as well as the awe and admiration he holds for his bride. Neat, too, to see how he perfectly compliments, calms and betters my dear friend.
All in all, a great success and so many fun memories of buckets of people, I too, have grown to love over the years of our sweet friendship. Enjoy!
